近日，2024世界中文大会在北京举办。美国圣玛丽中学校长瑞恩·伯纳德在接受中青报·中青网记者采访时表示，在21世纪，拥有跨文化能力是非常必要的。

　　“所以我认为学习中文和中国文化非常重要。”瑞恩·伯纳德表示，他认为学中文是他的学生与中国朋友建立联系的最佳方式。他很支持中国的学生到美国学习，也支持美国的学生学习中文，并亲自来中国看看。（中青报·中青网记者 李媛媛）

　　American High School Principal: “I Support Our Students Learning Chinese”

　　Recently, the 2024 World Chinese Conference was held in Beijing. Ryan Bernard, President of Saint Mary's School, U.S.A., stated in an interview with China Youth Daily. He said that in the 21st century, it is very necessary for people from all over the world to have some kind of cross-cultural competence.

　　"Therefore, I believe it is very important to learn Chinese and Chinese culture," Bernard said. He thinks that learning Chinese is the best way for his students to connect with friends in China.
