近日，参与“青年溯三江”百所高校大学生走进三江源活动的大学生记者，来到玉树州杂多县扎青乡，实地探访当地生态管护员。

　　Recently, student reporters participating in the "Youth Tracing the Three Rivers" initiative—a program bringing university students from across the country to the Three？River？Source region—visited Zhaqing Township in Zadoi County, Yushu to meet local ecological rangers in person.

　　在那里，我们见到了管护员公巴白玛。自2016年上岗以来，他已在这片土地上默默守护了十年。当他知道，他在澜沧江源头所做的保护工作，能够让下游国家的人们喝上干净水时，他的回答令人动容：“澜沧江是所有地球人的财产，我很高兴能帮助国外保护水源。”

　　There we met Gongba Baima, an ecological ranger. He took up his post in 2016 and has quietly guarded this source land for ten years. When he learned that his conservation work at the Lancang River source can bring clean drinking water to people in downstream countries, he gave a touching reply: “The Lancang River belongs to all people on Earth. I’m glad to help protect water sources for people abroad.”

　　每一滴水、每一条河流、每一片湖泊，都是所有地球人的财产。站在澜沧江源头，守护清澈的水流向远方，便是守护全人类共同的根基。也正是这份朴素信念，让“中华水塔”的每一道波光，都有了跨越山水的温度与分量。公巴白玛用十年把“命运相连”四个字，一寸一寸地写进了心底。

　　Every drop of water, every river and every lake belongs to all people on Earth. Standing at the source of the Lancang River, protecting clear water flowing far away is protecting the common foundation of all mankind. It is this simple belief that gives every ripple of the “Water Tower of China” warmth and weight that crosses mountains and rivers. Gongba Baima has kept the idea of a shared destiny deep in his heart through ten years of dedication.
